Job Description:
At Main Event, our Food Runners support the Server to ensure that our Guests have an amazing experience! As a Food Runner , your primary duty is to help with refills, pre-bussing tables , helping with table turns, and making sure the dining areas are spotlessly clean! You also assist with aspects of service like greeting Guests and taking drink o rd ers. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?
- Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
- Assisting with greeting Guests and taking drink orders
- Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest’s needs
- Supporting the Server by refilling condiments, pre-bussing tables , and turning tables
- Creating memorable experiences by providing exceptional service
- Performing opening, mid-day , or closing duties
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Prior food and beverage experience a plus but not required
- Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
- Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
- Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Certification, as required
- Communicates effectively
- Sense of urgency and comfort in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
- Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
- Availability to workdays , nights , and/or weekends
