Based in New York, NY, the Piercer will report to the Studio Manager and will execute piercing services within the Studio. You will be the ultimate ambassador of the brand by building and driving every aspect of the client’s experience in our Studio.
Hourly Rate:
- After passing the trial period, Piercers make $33.65/hour, plus tips
- During the trial period, Associate Piercers make $24/hour, plus tips

- Delivers confident, clear, and professional communication with clients during their entire Studs’ experience

- Be well versed in piercing operating procedures and regulations to ensure client experience and work safety standards are met
- Shows consistent and detailed record keeping including all maintenance, sterilized inventory and tools

Requirements:
- 1 year experience with needle piercing, experience working with both internally threaded and push-pin jewelry
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule of varying days and hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have at least 4 days of availability, inclusive of Saturday and Sunday. Excluding approved unscheduled time away.
- Must be able to stand for 8+ hour shifts
- Must pierce a minimum 18 appointments a day
- Must be able to visually inspect ear anatomy to execute advanced piercings
- Must be able to deliver piercings with a steady hand
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs
- Must be able to handle chemicals safely
