OVERVIEW: Job Duties & Responsibilities
Category Strategy
• Develop and execute category strategy aligned to business goals

- Build assortments that drive sales, margin, and customer engagement
- Present category vision and gain leadership alignment
• Own sales, margin, inventory, and turn performance
- Own sales, margin, inventory, and turn performance
- Lead in-season decisions to optimize results
- Partner with Planning to manage OTB and inventory flow
• Lead vendor negotiations and partnerships
- Lead vendor negotiations and partnerships
- Manage contracts, costs, and performance
- Drive joint business planning initiatives
• Ensure alignment across stores and eCommerce
- Ensure alignment across stores and eCommerce
- Partner with Visual and Marketing to bring assortments to life
- Optimize in-store presentation and customer experience
- Coach and develop junior team members
- Set expectations and drive accountability
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree (4 year college degree) or related experience
- 5 - 7 Years experience in Merchandising/Buying or related field experience, Experience in a leadership/ management role
