• $20–$22 per hour • 4-Day Workweek! • Competitive compensation • Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage • 401(k) retirement plan • Generous paid time off • Career development and opportunities to grow • Hands-on training in highway and roadway maintenance DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is looking for dependable, hardworking Class A CDL Drivers to join our Highway Maintenance team! If you enjoy working outdoors, operating equipment, and staying active on the job, this is a great opportunity to put your CDL to use while developing valuable highway maintenance skills. You'll work alongside an experienced team performing routine highway and roadway maintenance to help keep roads safe, clean, and well-maintained. What You'll Do:
- Clean and clear culverts and drainage areas.
- Mow grass and clear brush along roadways.
- Patch damaged pavement and roadway shoulders.
- Assist with storm cleanup and emergency response.
- Repair and maintain roadside fencing and signs.
- Remove litter and debris from highway areas.
- Operate trucks, equipment, and machinery used in highway maintenance.
- Use hand and power tools, including chainsaws, pole saws, weed eaters, and backpack blowers.
- Perform other highway maintenance duties as needed.
Qualifications What We're Looking For:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 5 years of clean driving experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work days, nights, and overtime as needed.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift moderately heavy objects and perform physical work, including bending, climbing, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.
