Lead Market Analytics and Machine Learning Location: Kochi preferred Domain: Agriculture, food and commodity markets Experience: Indicatively 6–9 years Role purpose Lead a small market analytics team while remaining hands-on with analysis, statistical modelling, machine learning and forecasting. Translate business questions into clear market insights and reports that support commercial decisions. Key responsibilities
• Define research priorities, analytical methods and delivery schedules with business stakeholders.

- Analyze prices, production, trade, supply and demand, seasonality, weather and other relevant market drivers.
- Develop and validate statistical and machine learning models, including time-series forecasts.
- Establish data quality checks, model evaluation methods and documentation standards.
- Prepare and review dashboards, market reports and presentations for accuracy and clarity.
- Communicate findings, assumptions, uncertainty and commercial implications to non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentor an experienced analyst and a junior analyst or intern as the team grows.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Data Science or a closely related quantitative discipline.

- Strong hands-on Python and SQL skills.
- Strong grounding in statistics, regression, time-series analysis and forecasting.
