About this Role
Take your lineman career to the next level with Probst Electric! We’re looking for an experienced Barehand Lineman to join our team in and around Texas, and perform specialized energized transmission-line work. This role is ideal for a safety-focused professional who takes pride in working at the highest level of the trade, thrives in a team environment, and is committed to delivering quality work on critical electrical infrastructure projects.
What You'll Do
- Perform barehand work on energized transmission lines.
- Inspect and maintain lines, structures, and related equipment.
- Follow established work procedures, safety rules, and job briefings.
- Work effectively with crew members in changing field conditions.
What You'll Bring
- Barehand or energized-line experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of Journeyman Lineman experience.
- Current Quanta BH (Barehand) certification, or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
- Required lineman training and qualifications for the role.
- A strong safety record and commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to work at heights and travel or work extended schedules as needed.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred if required for the position.
