Job Description: Structural Design Engineer (PEB & Industrial)Position: Structural Design Engineer - PEB & Industrial BuildingsExperience Level: Minimum 5-6+ YearsLocation: [Insert Location]Employment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer specializing in Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), industrial structures, and heavy structural steel projects. In this role, you will lead end-to-end structural analysis, specialized connection design, and construction-stage analysis to deliver robust engineering solutions for complex industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects.Key Responsibilities • PEB & Industrial Structure Design: Perform complete structural modeling, analysis, and design for PEB industrial plants, warehouses, commercial structures, and specialized sheds. • Connection & Steel Design: Carry out high-precision connection design for complex steel frames, high-rise structures, and heavy infrastructure using advanced design software and spreadsheets. • Construction-Stage & Erection Analysis: Analyze and design temporary support systems, erection towers, and stage-by-stage construction sequences to ensure site safety and structural stability. • Documentation & BOQ: Prepare and review Design Basis Reports (DBR), Bill of Quantities (BOQ), material estimation, primary/secondary member specifications, hardware, and sheeting. • Drawing Review & Site Coordination: Review General Arrangement (GA) drawings, proposal drawings, and shop detailing; closely coordinate with detailing and site execution teams to resolve engineering queries quickly. Key Requirements & Qualifications • Education: Bachelor's Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Civil Engineering (Master's in Structural Engineering is a plus). • Experience: Minimum 5-6 years of hands-on experience in structural design focusing on PEB, steel structures, and industrial buildings. • Software Proficiency: • Primary: STAAD Pro, ETABS • Connection & PEB Tools: IDEA Statica, MBS, AutoCAD, MS Excel • Technical Expertise: • Strong mastery of cold-formed steel section design, primary/secondary framing, and connection detailing. • Experience handling tender specifications, client query resolution, and interdisciplinary coordination
