About the job
About Beamable
Beamable is the backend and LiveOps infrastructure platform for game developers, the system that lets studios build, operate, and scale live games without constructing the underlying architecture themselves. Backend services, identity, analytics, meta-game systems, virtual economies, and AI-native tooling: all integrated into a single platform that eliminates the point-solution stitching that has defined game development for too long. Beamable also powers Wingman, an agentic LiveOps product that gives game teams a unified operating system to understand, optimize, and act on live game performance in real time. This is the future of how games are operated.
Beamable is part of FIRY , a founder-led global technology portfolio operating at the intersection of gaming, AI-powered performance marketing, and developer infrastructure. Acquired in January 2026, and together with Skillz, our competition platform, and RZR , our AI-driven ad network, Beamable sits at the foundation of a compounding ecosystem that no standalone competitor can replicate. If you want to build the infrastructure that games run on at a company with the vision and resources to back it — Beamable is the right place to do it.
About the Role
Beamable is seeking a Head of Marketing to lead the market introduction and growth of its next-generation game AI analytics and game development platform. This is an opportunity to build the marketing function from the ground up, shape the company’s market positioning, and establish a go-to-market strategy that drives awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
Partnering directly with the CRO, you will serve as a senior individual contributor with strategic ownership and hands-on responsibility across messaging, brand positioning, demand generation, events, and go-to-market execution. Success in this role means establishing a differentiated market presence, generating qualified pipeline, and building a scalable marketing foundation that supports sustained growth and positions Beamable for category leadership.
Responsibilities
- GTM Strategy & Brand Positioning. Define and own Beamable's go-to-market strategy and brand positioning for the product relaunch, establishing clear messaging, ICP definition, and competitive differentiation. Build the narrative that guides all external communications and market presence.
- Demand Generation & Pipeline. Own end-to-end demand generation, from strategy through execution, across digital, content, community, and event channels. Build a repeatable pipeline engine that delivers qualified leads to the sales function and demonstrates measurable marketing contribution to revenue.
- Event & Conference Execution. Lead Beamable's presence at key industry events including GDC and Gamescom, from strategy through on-site execution and post-event follow-up. Partner with the CRO to maximize pipeline generation and brand impact from every conference investment.
- Content & Sales Enablement. Create and maintain the full suite of marketing assets including decks, one-pagers, case studies, web copy, and demo materials that are needed to support sales conversations and market education. Ensure all materials reflect Beamable's positioning and are current with product capabilities.
- Marketing Function Build-Out. Establish Beamable's marketing infrastructure from the ground up — including tooling, processes, measurement framework, and reporting cadence. Build a scalable foundation that supports team growth and increasingly sophisticated marketing programs over time.
Key Competencies
- 0-to-1 Marketing Leadership. Proven ability to build a marketing function from scratch in an early-stage or relaunching company, establishing strategy, infrastructure, and execution capability as a senior individual operator before scaling a team.
- B2B Developer & Platform GTM Expertise. Deep experience marketing developer tools, game technology, or B2B SaaS platforms to technical audiences. Understands how developers evaluate and adopt platform products.
- Brand Positioning & Messaging. Strong ability to distill complex product capabilities into clear, compelling messaging that resonates with technical decision-makers and drives category awareness.
- Demand Generation & Pipeline Ownership. Hands-on experience building and running demand gen programs across multiple channels, with demonstrated ability to connect marketing activity to pipeline and revenue outcomes.
- Event Strategy & Execution. Experience planning and executing brand presence at major industry conferences — from strategy through logistics and post-event follow-through — with clear pipeline and awareness objectives.
- Executive Partnership & Cross-Functional Influence. Proven ability to operate as a senior thought partner to executive leadership, aligning marketing strategy to company goals and influencing priorities without direct authority over resources.
- Player-Coach Mentality. Equally comfortable setting strategy and rolling up their sleeves to execute — writing copy, building decks, managing vendors, and running events while maintaining the long-term marketing vision.
Experience
- At least 10 years of experience in B2B marketing, with significant experience in game technology, developer tools, or SaaS/Analytics platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Proven track record of building a marketing function from 0 to 1 in an early-stage, startup, or relaunching company.
- Experience building and leading high-performing marketing teams, with demonstrated ability to scale a function from solo operator to full team.
- Experience marketing to technical audiences — developers, engineers, or game studios — with deep understanding of how developer tools are evaluated and adopted.
- Demonstrated success driving demand generation, lead pipeline, and brand awareness in a B2B context.
- Experience planning and executing presence at major gaming or technology industry conferences ( GDC , Gamescom, or equivalent).
