ABOUT THE ROLE
Lead growth for a fintech serving trade businesses with international payment needs. You will build the acquisition engine, creating qualified opportunities for the sales team and helping expand into new customer segments and markets.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Identify, approach, and negotiate partnerships through to signed agreements, with support from company leadership.
- Choose and develop acquisition channels, including marketing, events, paid campaigns, and outbound.
- Build a referral program that turns client and industry relationships into new business.
- Improve activation so new clients make their first payment quickly and continue transacting.
- Explore new trade verticals and markets across Latin America.
- Lead sales and business development, and grow the team as results support hiring.
- Build lead lists, run outreach, and adjust growth plans based on results.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Five to ten years of experience in B2B growth, ideally as an early-stage builder or someone who has built a go-to-market motion from scratch.
- Experience scaling acquisition channels such as partnerships, outbound, referrals, and events to generate qualified leads for a sales team.
- A background in payments, fintech, cards, or trade services, with a demonstrated record of scaling more than $100 million in volume.
- Experience acquiring or serving importers, exporters, wholesalers, or other trade businesses in the United States or Latin America.
- Ability to identify prospective partners, initiate conversations, and negotiate deals through completion.
- Spanish or Portuguese proficiency is a plus.
- Authorization to work in your location without visa sponsorship is required.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary is $120,000 to $160,000 USD annually, with $170,000 to $230,000 USD OTE (on-target earnings, base plus variable). Visa sponsorship is not available.
LOCATION
Hybrid in Chicago, Illinois.
