Bookkeeper

A company in Pasadena is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records. This Bookkeeper will be responsible for a wide range of bookkeeping and accounting functions, including full-cycle payroll, general accounting, expense report processing, bank reconciliations, and month-end close support. The ideal Bookkeeper will have strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and experience working with accounting systems and payroll processes. This role is a hybrid/remote role with 3 days remote and 2 days in office. Key Responsibilities:Process full-cycle payroll accurately and on time, including payroll deductions, taxes, and related reporting. Perform day-to-day general accounting and bookkeeping duties. Review, verify, and process employee expense reports. Complete bank and credit card reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly. Assist with month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting support. Maintain the general ledger and ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed. Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and supporting documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable payroll and accounting regulations. .Communicate with employees, management, and outside vendors regarding payroll, expenses, and account questions.
