Payroll Specialist

We are looking for a part-time experienced Payroll Specialist to support accurate and timely payroll operations for a large employee population. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who can manage end-to-end payroll processing across multiple states while maintaining compliance and precision. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working with ADP Workforce Now and handling complex payroll activities in a fast-paced environment. This role is expected to work 15 hours per week.Responsibilities:• Process complete payroll cycles for a workforce of more than 500 employees, ensuring accuracy from data review through final distribution.• Administer payroll activities across multiple states while applying relevant wage, tax, and compliance requirements.• Maintain and update employee payroll records, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and direct deposit information.• Use ADP Workforce Now to enter, validate, and reconcile payroll data for regular and off-cycle payments.• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, responding promptly to questions from employees and internal stakeholders.• Review timekeeping and related payroll inputs to confirm completeness and alignment with company policies.• Prepare payroll reports, audit findings, and supporting documentation for leadership, finance, and compliance needs.
