INC016: Sr. Agent, Supply Chain Operations Key Responsibilities Transportation Operations
• Manage day-to-day transportation activities, including primary and secondary transportation movements.
- Manage day-to-day transportation activities, including primary and secondary transportation movements.
- Coordinate with 3PL partners, transporters, fleet operators, and other logistics service providers.
- Plan and monitor vehicle placement, shipment dispatch, route allocation, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments in line with agreed SLA/KPI requirements.
- Monitor shipment status and proactively identify and resolve delays, route deviations, vehicle issues, and delivery exceptions.
- Ensure proper documentation for transportation movements, including e-way bills, PODs, invoices, delivery documents, and other statutory requirements.
• Manage operational relationships with third-party logistics and transportation service providers.

- Monitor transporter performance against agreed SLAs and KPIs.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with logistics partners and drive corrective actions.
- Coordinate with vendors for vehicle availability, capacity planning, service issues, and operational escalations.
- Support evaluation and onboarding of new transportation vendors as required.
- Validate transportation bills, freight charges, accessorial charges, and supporting documentation.
- Track key transportation KPIs such as:
- On-Time Delivery (OTD)
- On-Time Pickup
- Vehicle Placement
- Transit Time
- Freight Cost per Shipment / KM
- Vehicle Utilization
- Delivery Exceptions
- POD Compliance
• Prepare regular transportation performance reports and dashboards.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 5–7 years of relevant experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, distribution, or 3PL operations.
- Experience working with 3PL/contract logistics companies and transportation vendors in India.
- Strong understanding of transportation and distribution operations.
- Good knowledge of Indian transportation practices, documentation, and statutory requirements.
- Experience with ERP/TMS/ systems and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and vendor-management skills.
• Experience in FMCG, Retail, E-commerce, Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Automotive, Pharma, or other distribution-intensive industries.
