Product Manager II, Enterprise MerchandisingLocation: Irving, TX (Onsite) | ContractOverviewOur client is seeking a Product Manager II, Enterprise Merchandising to help shape product vision, strategy and delivery for the systems and workflows used to plan, price, promote, fund and execute merchandise across stores and digital channels. This highly cross-functional individual-contributor role sits at the intersection of Merchandising, Finance, Operations, Technology, UX and Data, translating business strategy and user needs into product priorities and driving work from discovery through delivery and adoption.ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Planning: translate business goals and user needs into product strategy and priorities.Define and track goals, metrics and analytics; refine the backlog based on learnings.Use qualitative and quantitative feedback, competitive research and market analysis to shape the roadmap.Delivery & Execution: test and refine hypotheses with user research.Create, prioritize and accept user stories; drive release planning.Identify tradeoffs, dependencies and value for features and enhancements.Lead or participate in standups, iteration planning, demos and retrospectives.Explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Team & Stakeholders: collaborate with engineering and UX to resolve impediments.Advocate for end users and become the domain expert.Manage cross-functional expectations and communicate strategy at all levels.Required QualificationsProduct management experience at the Product Manager II level.Customer research and experimentation; turning insights into product recommendations.Business analytics and business cases.Technical understanding of product architecture and tech debt; strong agile product ownership.Big-picture thinking and relationship building across the organization.Preferred QualificationsExperience with retail merchandising, pricing, promotions or vendor funding systems.Pay rate: $50/hr. This is a 6 months contract position, onsite in Irving, TX. Candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card holders.
